The dash plaque on 1987 GLHS Chargers read "Shelby Automobiles Inc", "Carroll Shelby" autograph and "Charger GLH-S ####".
Its 15-inch wheels (which look larger on the comparatively small car) and chunky tires deliver commendable grip, with cornering quite good for an early front-driver. Shelby Automobiles purchased the last 1000 of these & they were shipped to the Whittier factory for modification.
