I have long legs and found this short 3 hour flight absolutely fine. Dan W on Grateful that another passenger was willing to switch with me. Combined with the lack of power outlets and IFE, plus the constant stream of people using the lavatory, this was the most uncomfortable flight I've ever taken and I can't believe I paid extra for it. What is wrong WIth American Airlines. I was glad there was noone in the middle seat or it would have been a misreable flight. Very disappointed AA does not offer IFE, power, or free wifi to first-class seats.

How american Airlines can charge extra for this seat and for 22B amazes me. You essentially have two rows worth of legroom. Flight 809 from Philly to Tampa was originally supposed to be an Airbus A320 however AA delayed the flight for 2 hours and apparently changed the aircraft to this one. Someone tall would have been miserable in that seat, or at least more miserable than in the others (including the tall guy in front of us who insisted on full recline for the entire flight.
