The competition had different formats during the years. The CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournament is an under 23 international football (soccer) event in the North America, Central America and the Caribbean region, and is the qualification tournament for the Olympic Games. The two finalists qualified directly to the Men's Olympic Football Tournament Rio 2016, while the third-place finisher, United States, disputed an inter-confederation playoff versus Conmebol.
For other territories, the event will be available on Concacaf GO (subject to territory restrictions).
