I've lived in the area all my life and what I enjoy most is how easy it is to get anywhere by walking or public transport. The program consists of games, small group time as well as the preaching of the word in a youth setting. Merrylands is very multicultural, and has many new migrant families. I feel safe when I'm at the shops and walking to the train station (I live off a main road so it is well lit at night). The Model Home will be on your right. I have been living in Merrylands for over 15 years and it's not what it used to be.From renting and buying which is very expensive and unworthy of the price tag to high mix of ethnicity make this once beautiful and peace full suburb dangerous and dirty place to live in,rude and low or uneducated population,dirty restaurants,I would not recommend eating out in most of those on Merrylands rd.Bowling Club must be the best place to be at at the moment.Direct train line to City with average time table,fairly easy to get around.Tries too hard to compete with Parramatta.Very disappointing as I wanted to spend my life here but now am looking at buying and living elsewhere better then here.Great pity it has become what it has and is getting worse in every way possible,a great shame. See the same vets, Dr. Daniel Huynh or Dr. Ross Hansford so your pets receive ongoing care. There are plenty of houses and units around this area as more and more families head towards Western Sydney for cheaper houses and rent.

You can visit Stockland Merrylands and get a feel for the area before moving in. Merrylands in located in the western suburbs of Sydney. Apart from shootings & bag snatches televised I've seen men casually urinating in public, this place is filthy, filthy, filthy! All rights reserved. Even though there are many different cultures living there, there is cultural harmony in the suburb. I remember dreading that Muslims wouldn’t like me but I was pleasantly surprised when women wearing the Hijab made friends with me and it made me question why I had expected that. Why Trust Us? I won’t hear a bad word against them now. You can visit Stockland Merrylands and get a feel for the area before moving in. A very lifely place with shopping facilities, sports, restaurants, medical centers, train and 2 min away from Parramatta. The food, the transport, the places, the rich sense of multiculturalism that perfumes the area (quite literally)... Not to mention the immense respect that the younger generation has towards the elderly. We greatly appreciate your support in this time and hope you are staying safe. I love grocery shopping here, it is so ethnically diverse that you can buy almost anything; from biltong to baklava.
