Seen this before, good story about teenagers, modern society on looks , doesn’t always get you where you want in life, got for my daughter!

Although Hudgens and Pettyfer have good chemistry, I found the film a bit dull - I haven't read the book which this film is based on but wasn't Alex supposed to be more beastly? At the school she finds herself drawn to a fellow student, unaware that he is an angel, and has loved her for thousands of years. This 2011 fantasy romantic drama centres on arrogant and vain Kyle Kingson (Alex Pettyfer), son of a wealthy and equally arrogant and vain father. Seventeen year old Kyle is the spoiled, shallow and incredibly popular prince of his high school kingdom.

How about a movie where the guy already has a good heart, and doesn't need a woman's love to draw it out of him? It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. but Never Truly Connected .. !

There are a few elements in the film that's different from the novel - but of course, that's to be expected. This movie is perfect for teens but that's about it. If that makes sense. It wasn't until shortly after when I saw it again that I really began to see how amazing this movie was. A modern-day take on the "Beauty and the Beast" tale where a New York teen is transformed into a hideous monster in order to find true love.. Beastly was Writen by Daniel Barnz, Alex Flinn and directed by Daniel Barnz in the year 2011. I was hoping this film would be what I was expecting (An almost Sci-Fi movie where a girl falls for a manly man, who had a spell put on him to teach him not to be so arrogant.) After arrogant teenager Kyle humiliates a Goth classmate, she puts a curse on him that transforms him from a hunk into a hideous creature.

At the Buckeston Academy High School, the wealthy, arrogant, narcissistic, and bigoted Kyle Kingson is a student who does not respect his classmates. The chemistry between Pettyfer and Hudgens isn't there for me, they fail to bring the story more alive. (it made me use too many Exclamation Points .. I add humor .. but this movie was a HUGE disappointment on Soo Many levels .. you know he has to get her to "love him" .. but it didnt ring true .. none of it was fluid with the plot line and I wanted it to be something I fell 'in love with" . Beastly is a modern version of Beauty and the Beast, Alex Pettyfer stars as Alex the beast of the film and Vanessa Hudgens as the beauty who must win Alex's heart for his spell to be broken. I thought it was an okay modern day story and kind of overlooked it. TV-Series. Further, she tells him that if he does not find anyone who loves him within a year, he will be doomed to that appearance forever. This is his story.
